A Curtain of Happiness: Wediaentertainment and LÖSEV Bring the Magic of Cinema to Children with Leukemia

Lights, camera… happiness! Wediaentertainment, a proud member of the Wediacorp Companies Group, has embarked on a heartwarming journey with LÖSEV, launching the “A Curtain of Happiness” project. With the heartfelt motto, “We are here to create a small smile on our children’s faces, to open a curtain to happiness with them,” this initiative is bringing the magic of cinema to little warriors battling leukemia.

The First Act: A Special Movie Screening 

The curtain rose for the first time at Ankara Lösante Hospital, where 160 bright-eyed children experienced the joy of cinema together. Their first cinematic adventure? The animated hit “Boonie Bears : Guardian Code,” a film currently capturing hearts on the big screen. Laughter, excitement, and pure joy filled the room as the young audience became part of the adventure unfolding before them.

A Token of Strength and Hope 

But the magic didn’t end with the credits! Wediacorp CEO Funda Şen Demir and her dedicated team surprised the children with a special gift—the symbolic necklace from the movie, a small yet powerful reminder of strength, courage, and unity. With each necklace came a heartfelt wish for resilience and happiness.

Spreading Smiles, One Screening at a Time 

For many of these children, stepping into a cinema is not always possible. But with “A Curtain of Happiness,” Wediaentertainment and LÖSEV are bringing the silver screen to them! Each month, children and their families will gather in specially designed cinema rooms in the Village for Children with Leukemia, escaping into worlds of wonder, adventure, and inspiration.
